1) Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence. Highlight your use of media language and try to cover camera shots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons.
There is an establishing shot at the beginning of the opening, showing the setting (buildings). This clip was sped up to show that time is passing. After this there's a low angle shot, focusing on the buidings to connote that the buildings seems intimidating and that the people there may have a high status. Also, there's a close-up shot and a tilt of a male character fixing his tie, connoting the idea that he's professional. Furthermore, there's a medium shot of another male character in what seems like a conference room while drinking coffee, reinforcing the idea that he's professional and could also connote that he's a business man. In addition, there's a tracking of the girl character's shadow, linking to another camera shot which is a medium shot, this connotes the idea that it's focusing on the girl's perspective. Also, there's a range of medium shots that changes with transitions, showing how the pace is fast.

2) How does the camerawork give the audience clues about the setting, narrative and character?
The cameraworks gives the audience clues about the setting, narrative and character by showing fast paced editing and a range of settings that focuses on office works such as the buildings and office rooms. Also, the use of the camera shots shows how it doesn't show the character's identity. These could connote that the narrative is about businesses or companies, where there could be someone sabotaging other companies.

Secondly, find and analyse one film or TV still image. Add the image to your blogpost.

3) Analyse the camera shot/angle in the image and what it communicates to the audience. Remember to highlight the media terminology you use.

The camera shot shows a medium shot, focusing on the character's costumes and connoting how they're students. Also, the framing shows how both character's are in the centre, connoting that they are the main characters and their importance. This also shows how the character's are holding cameras, which could connote that they're both trying to capture memories and the fact that the camera shot only shows the facial expression of the girl which is that she's smiling and her body language looks content could suggest that it's only her having a good time. Furthermore, it shows how the male character's face isn't shown which could connote that the plot could be about the guy and that something bad is going to happen to him
