2) Using a combination of your own reflection on the preliminary exercise and the feedback you were given, write three WWW bullet points and three EBI bullet points for your work.
WWW:
- Set the foundation for my music video coursework
- Range of clips and camerawork
- Good editing
EBI:
- Remove zoom and out as well panning left and right
- Fix the lip-syncing issue - use small clips
- Add industry for closure
3) How effectively did you complete the objective you laid out in your mini preliminary exercise statement of intent?
I was able to complete a most of my targets from my preliminary exercise and statement of intent but I just have to make a few changes to meet the standards of a music video as well as trying to keep it pleasing for my audience such as the lip-sync to be on time with the music. I will do this by using short clips from my artist lip-syncing and then add a few clips to fill in the gaps.
4) What have you learned from the preliminary exercise that will help you in the actual coursework project?
I learnt not to use a clip that zooms in and out as well as panning left to right. Also, I learnt that for the lip-syncing to work, I should not use the whole clip of my artist lip-syncing as there could be some scenes that wouldn’t be parallel to the song.
5) Now you have completed the preliminary exercise, will you change anything about your actual coursework video plan? This could include your concept, cast/actors or technical elements such as mise-en-scene, camerawork or editing.

I will only change a few scenes and some post production edits but I will most likely keep the video that I already did. I will have to cut out a few scenes that doesn’t reach the standard of a music video and add clips that I haven’t use to fill in the gaps and to make sure that it still links to my concept.
